Frances Kidd Madison, 91, of Natural Bridge Station, died Tuesday October 27, 2009.

Born July 30, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Paxton Kidd and Irene Wood Kidd.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Madison was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper L. Madison and her son, Gregory R. Madison.

Frances was a member of the Natural Bridge Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons: Ronald L. Madison of Roanoke and Thomas R. Madison of Union, KY; one brother, Talmadge Kidd of Henderson, NV; five Grandchildren: Stephanie Coffey; Timothy N. Madison; Thomas G. Madison; David S. Madison; Sherry Madison and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., October 31, 2009 at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Timothy Madison and the Rev. John Ragland officiating. Burial will follow at the Natural Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Natural Bridge Baptist Cemetery Fund.

The Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory, Lexington, Virginia, is handling the arrangements.
