Jehovah's Witnesses Church Member Dies At Age 89
Vada Scott Tripp, 89, of Buena Vista, died Friday, November 6, 2009 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital.
She was born February 3, 1920 in Buena Vista, daughter of the late Matthew and Russell Campbell Scott.
Mrs. Tripp was a member of Lexington North Congregation of JehovahÕ's Witnesses.
Surviving are a son, Basil R. Tripp and wife, Joanne; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren, all of Richmond, Va.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2009 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Ken Kurpik serving as minister. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
