    Obituary for Tommy Allen Mundy Tommy Allen Mundy
    Roanoke Native Was BV Pentecostal Holiness Church Member

    Tommy Allen Mundy, 68, of Lexington, died Sunday, November 8, 2009 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

    He was born March 31, 1941 in Roanoke, a son of Ethel Nuckoles Mundy of Roanoke and the late Roy C. Mundy, Jr.

    He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Spangler and husband of Buchanan, VA.

    He was a member of the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church.

    He is survived by his wife, Darlene Mundy of 48 years; children: Teresa Riddle of Ruffin, NC; Melisa Justice and husband, Darrell of Pelham, NC, Denisa Goad and husband, JD of Fairfield; brothers, Frank Mundy and wife, Linda of Broadway, VA; Jimmy Mundy and wife, Sharon of Roanoke, VA; a sister, Charlene Reynolds and husband, Bernie of Natural Bridge Station, VA and Linda Norris Miller and husband, Joe of Roanoke, VA; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

    A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, in the Bolling, Grose, and Lotts Chapel with the Rev. W. David Bain officiating. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 Tuesday at the funeral home.

    Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, and Lotts Funeral Service, Buena Vista, Virginia.
