    Obituaries

    Marvin Lee Gladwell, Sr. Marvin Lee Gladwell, Sr.

    Marvin Lee Gladwell, Sr., 87, of Lexington, died Saturday, November 13, 2004 at his home.

    Mr. Gladwell was born January 8, 1917 in Rockingham County, a son of the late Arron Franklin Gladwell and Ollie Reese Gladwell.

    He was retired from Burlington Industries and Modline.

    Mr. Gladwell was preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Davis Gladwell and a son, Bill Gladwell.

    Surviving is his daughter, Sandra J. Gladwell of Lexington; a son, Marvin L. Gladwell, Jr. of Greenville, Tennessee; a brother, Raymond Gladwell of Raphine; three grandchildren and one great grandson; a nephew, James Mahood of Lexington; numerous other nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2004 in the Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Calvin Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Bardens. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
