Miss Megan Hoke Rexrode of Boones Mill, Virginia, daughter of Daniel and Monica Rexrode of Lexington, Virginia and Donald Neil Wright of Boones Mill, Virginia, son of Harvey and Brenda Wright of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia were married on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Oxford Presbyterian Church, Lexington, Virginia. Dr. Horace Douty performed the candlelight ceremony. Wedding music was provided by Mrs. Patricia Donald of Lexington.
The bride wore an Oleg Cassini white satin with tulle overlay gown featuring alençon lace and hand-sewn pearls and crystals.
Matron of honor was Leslie Joyce, cousin of the bride, of Lexington, Virginia. Bridesmaids were Erika Breiding of Roanoke, Virginia, Hayley Chambers of Daytona Beach, Florida and Nichola Hays of Reston, Virginia. They wore navy blue satin dresses.
Flower girls were Elsa Joyce, cousin of the bride, of Lexington, Virginia and Olivia Wright, niece of the groom, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia. Ring bearer was Spencer Hickman of Lexington, Virginia.
Best man was Trevor Mitchell of Bel Air, Maryland. Groomsmen were Matthew Rexrode, brother of the bride, of Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England; Gary Wright, brother of the groom, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia and Eric Smith of Nashville, Tennessee.
The bride graduated in 2003 from Rockbridge County High School and Hollins University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art. She is employed by Hollins University in Roanoke as an admissions counselor.
The groom graduated in 2003 from Rockbridge County High School and New River Community College in 2006 with an Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering and Instrumentation. He is employed by American Electric Power in Roanoke.
A reception hosted by the bride's parents was held at Evans Hall, Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia and the couple took a honeymoon to Montego Bay, Jamaica.
They are residing in Boones Mill, Virginia
