Humphries, Loy Recognized By Bridgewater College   Bridgewater, Va, January 14, 2009 - The Dean's List for the fall semester at Bridgewater College has been announced by Dr. Carol A. Scheppard, vice president and dean for academic affairs. Students on the Dean's List have attained a 3.4 or better grade point average of a possible 4.0. Bridgewater College, a private, four-year liberal arts college, enrolls more than 1,500 students. Founded in 1880 and located in the Central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, it was the state's first private, coeducational senior college. The following students from the Rockbridge area have excelled academically: Ann Hmphries, a junior, majoring in family and consumer sciences, from Buena Vista Brandi Loy, a senior, majoring in sociology, from Fairfield.
