Coffeys Celebrate 50th Anniversary

Aubrey and Mary Coffey celebrated their 50th Anniversary at a surprise celebration give by their five children.
Many family and friends attended the celebration which was held at the Buena Vista Fire Department on August 17, 2008.
The room was decorated with a color scheme of lavender and gold. A BBQ lunch was provided. They had a 3 tier cake with lavender and gold accents.
The Coffeys were presented with a photo album of old pictures. The photo album was created by their daughter Carolyn Smith.
Aubrey and Mary Coffey were married August 16, 1958. They have 5 children: Teresa Burnett of Bedford (husband, Steve), Carolyn Smith of Staunton, Marlene Keiser of Buena Vista (husband, Robert), Gary Coffey of Buena Vista (wife, Cherie) and Michelle Moses (husband, Doug) of Covington. They have 11 grandchildren: Jessica, Katie, Amy, Christina, Ashley, Robbie, Hailey, Tommy, Emily, Kelsey and Sara. They have 6 great grandchildren: Madison, Javon, Eli, Gwendolyn, Kaleb and Emma.
Mary and Aubrey Coffey reside in Rockbridge County. Aubrey works part time at Advance Auto Parts in Buena Vista. | | | | | |
