Updated: Thefts, Vandalism Information Sought By Sheriff's Department   The following crimes were committed recently and the Rockbridge County Sheriff's Department is seeking any information that citizens may have in an attempt to solve them: 1) A B Hilco Co, Inc had a Neiko 13 HP 8000 watt generator, yellow and black, stolen from Ebenezer Circle around 3/13/09. 2) Townsend Tree Trimming Co had the following stolen from a truck on 3/18/09: Black and Decker Power Drill 3/8 ", Husqvarna chain saw model # 346XP marked w/ 7F402, Stihl chain saw model 360 marked w/ 6F341 and 6F3, Black tool box with socket wrenches and assorted tools. 3) There has been a rash of mailbox vandalisms the last two weeks in the Natural Bridge/Arnolds Valley area of the county. 4) A Homelite 2500 watt generator was taken from a location on Lone Jack Road in Glasgow between March 20 and March 24, 2009. At least two people were involved in the theft and a hasp and padlock were pried off a door.
