nTelos Wireless Awarded Virginia Information Technology Agency Wireless Service Contract

WAYNESBORO, Virginia (May 19, 2009) – nTelos Wireless (NTLS), a leading provider of wireless voice and data services, announced that the company has been awarded the Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) mobile communications systems and devices contract. VITA's mission includes procurement of technology for the state government.
The two-year agreement began on May 1, 2009, and includes six one-year extensions. nTelos Wireless is providing wireless voice, text messaging and data services for Virginia state agencies. A full complement of wireless phones, smartphones, and PDAs with advanced features is also included.
