Cline To Honor Public Servants At Courthouse August 21, 2009   LEXINGTON—Delegate Ben Cline, (R-24), will present resolutions commending a group of Rockbridge County’s civic leaders for their public service on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 4:00pm at the Rockbridge County Courthouse. Delegate Cline sponsored resolutions honoring these individuals during the 2008 and 2009 sessions of the Virginia General Assembly. Among the honorees attending will be former Rockbridge County Supervisor Maynard Reynolds, former Lexington Mayor Major Gen. John Knapp, former Lexington City Councilman Col. Tim Golden, former Buena Vista Mayor Todd Jones, former Buena Vista City Councilman Tommy Keiser and former Glasgow Councilwoman Roberta Lyle. Cline represents the 24th House District, including the Cities of Lexington and Buena Vista, Rockbridge County, and parts of Amherst and Augusta Counties. He was elected in 2002, and re-elected to his fourth term in 2007. Cline is a member of the House Commerce Committee, the Public Safety Committee, the Finance Committee, and the Courts Committee.
