Partnership for Prescription Assistance Bus Coming to Millboro Uninsured Patients Can Get Information On Free Or Reduced Cost Medicines |
| The “Help is Here Express” (the Big Orange Bus) tour will be in Millboro on Tuesday, September 1st to help uninsured Virginians gain access to information on programs that provide prescription medicines for free or nearly free.
The bus will be in Millboro from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Fairview Community Center at 24403 Mountain Valley Road – Route 39.
The bus tour is part of the Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA) – a nationwide effort sponsored by America’s pharmaceutical research companies and supported by PPA’s national spokesperson, Montel Williams.
The “Help is Here Express” is staffed by trained specialists who will help patients access information and enroll in any of the hundreds of patient assistance programs that are a part of PPA. When the “Help is Here Express” moves on, patients can visit PPA’s easy-to-use Web site www.pparx.org or call the toll-free phone number (1-888-4PPA-NOW) where trained operators field calls in 150 languages.
