Molly Beth Plogger And Christopher Holman Boyd Wed

 
Ms. Molly Beth Plogger and Christopher Holman Boyd, both of Richmond, were married by the Reverend William Klein at Lexington Presbyterian Church in Lexington, Virginia on May 30, 2009.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Dan Murphy of Lynchburg and the groom is the son of Ms. Leslie Boyd of Winchester, Virginia and Mr. And Mrs. Marshall Boyd of Fishersville, Virginia. For the ceremony, the bride wore a dress of Duchess Satin in Rum Pink and her bridesmaids wore dresses of Silk Faille in French Blue.

Maid of honor was Ms. Rachel Garrett of Arlington, Virginia. Bridesmaids were Ms. Jessica Harman of Midlothian, Virginia, Ms. Valerie Koel of Dundalk, Maryland, Ms. Kate Parent of Quincy, Massachusetts, Ms. Christa Robb of Mechanicsville, Virginia, Ms. Carole Schmick of Baltimore, Maryland and Ms. Sarah Boyd of Richmond, sister of the groom.

Ms. Donna Mabry of Lexington, Virginia provided wedding music. The flower girl was Ms. Kendal Nye of Lexington, Virginia and the ring bearer was Mr. Alex Nye of Lexington, Virginia.

Best man was Mr. Tripp Boyd, of Richmond, brother of the groom. Ushers were Mr. Marshall Boyd of Fishersville, father of the groom, Mr. Justin Sloan of Leesburg, Virginia, Mr. Michael Arculin of Denver, Colorado, Mr. Nicholas Bertozzi of Midlothian, Virginia, Mr. Austen Bander of Richmond, Virginia and Mr. Michael Calhoun of Baltimore, Maryland.

A reception hosted by Karen and Dan Murphy was held at Moody Hall at VMI in Lexington, Virginia.

The bride and is a 2000 graduate of Rockbridge County High School and received a BS in Human Development and Learning at Lynchburg College. She is employed by the Hopewell Public School System in Hopewell, Virginia.

The groom is a graduate of Randolph Macon College with a BA in Economics and Business. He is employed by Electronic Systems Inc. in Ashland, Virginia.

The couple took a wedding trip to Excellence Riviera Resort in Cancun, Mayan Riviera in Mexico.

The are making their home in Richmond, Virginia
