A horseshoe tournament is planned for the Glasgow Horseshoe Pits, adjacent to the Town Park at the corner of 8th St. and Gordon St. for September 12. The event is a fundraiser sponsored by the Southeast Rockbridge Parks and Recreation Development Association.
The event is open to all men and women, ages 18 and over.
The entry fee is $10 per person, with cash to be paid at registration time.
Registration will be held from 9-10 a.m. and no pre-registration is required.
A blind draw held at 10 a.m. will comprise teams.
The tournament is scheduled to run all day and official rules will be available at the event.
There will be individual trophies for the first and second teams.
