Funding Celebration Planned For City Of Buena Vista, Natural Bridge Fire Departments   Buena Vista (October 23, 2009) - Congressman Bob Goodlatte, USDA Rural Development State Director, Ellen Davis, Buena Vista Fire Chief Tommy Keiser, Natural Bridge Fire Chief Gomez Lee and other federal, state and local officials will be celebration on October 29, 2009 (beginning at 2 p.m.). Highlighted will be over $56,000 in assistance (a portion from Stimulus Funding) to be received by the two fire departments to help purchase equipment, including a new fire engine. The ceremony will take place at the Buena Vista Firehouse, located at 2010 Sycamore Ave., Buena Vista, Virginia. The new equipment will help both Volunteer Fire Departments modernize to increase safety in the two communities.
