Easter Brothers At First Brethren

The Easter Brothers will present their special blend of music during the 10:50 a.m. Worship Service at First Brethren Church in Buena Vista on Sunday, November 1.
This trio of men—who actually are brothers—are joined by Russell Easter, Jr. and his multi-talented son, Jarod Easter.
Everywhere they go, the Easter Brothers are known for their unique style. Some call it Southern Gospel while others call it traditional Country Gospel with some Bluegrass mixed in for good measure. Whatever it is called, it is notable for its clear, simple melodies and pure harmony.
In 2002 The Easter Brothers received a Dove Award for Song of the Year for their original song “Thank you Lord For Your Blessings On Me.”
Together for more than 50 years, The Easter Brothers have appeared on television programs such as PTL and Camp Meeting USA. More recently they have appeared on some of the Bill Gaither Concerts.
“We hope that folks in the community will come and enjoy this morning of great gospel music,” said Christian Becker, First Brethren’s pastor. “The Easters’ music is well known and will encourage you no matter where you are in your walk with God.”
