'Around the World in 90 Minutes' Set at DSLCC Nov. 6

An explorer and award-winning author will be the guest speaker on Friday, November 6, in Moomaw Center on the main campus of Dabney S. Lancaster Community College in Clifton Forge. Marty Essen will present his slide show, “Around The World in 90 Minutes”, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
While working on his book, “Cool Creatures, Hot Planet: Exploring the Seven Continents”, Essen and his wife, Deb, traveled the world searching for rare and interesting wildlife. The slide presentation includes stunning photographs, little-known facts and humorous stories. Essen’s show is both entertaining and educational.
Also, Essen will speak with students interested in starting home-based or small businesses, beginning at 10 a.m.
This is event is free and open to the public.
