Benefit Cake Walk At Vesuvius
|
| The Vesuvius Community Association is hosting a Benefit Cake Walk on Saturday, November 28, 2009. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and refreshments will be available. The Cake Walk will begin at 7:00 p.m., and everyone is urged to attend.
There will be door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and the last "Walk" of the evening will be for a prize of $50.00 in cash.
Donations of Door Prizes and/or Cakes are appreciated.
Profits from the evening will be presented to the family of Sierra Hite, the granddaughter of Becky Hite of Vesuvius. Sierra has suffered from cerebral palsy since birth. A spunky girl, she attends Fairfield Elementary School even though she requires full time use of a wheel chair and braces. Her doctors have suggested that the use of a specially made Tricycle would greatly benefit her; however, this Tricycle would cost the family more than $3,500.00. 100% of financial contributions will go directly toward this cost.
All contributions are welcome, and may be tax-deductible.
Please contact Kitty Cash at 377-2178 for details or information on making contributions. | | | | | |
