Cline And Hanger To Attend State Of Community Breakfast   The 12th Annual State of the Community Breakfast, sponsored by the Government Relations Committee of the Chamber of Commerce, will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the Hampton Inn Col Alto. According to Chamber Director Sammy Moore, this year's line-up of expected speakers include Delegate Ben Cline and Senator Emmett Hanger as well as the mayors and chair of the three local jurisdictions - Lexington Mayor Mimi Elrod, Buena Vista Mayor Mike Clements and Hunt Riegel, Chairman of the Rockbridge Board of Supervisors. Each of them will give a short overview of what has transpired over the last year and what they see ahead for 2010. As Senator Hanger was not able to attend last year, we are looking forward to hearing what he has been up to. Breakfast will begin at 7:15 am, with the program running from 7:45 am to 8:45 am. There will be a chance to ask questions of the elected officials from 8:45 am to 9:00 am. The program will be completed by 9:00 am. Reservations must be made at the Chamber by Wednesday, December 30th due to limited seating. Cost of breakfast is $10 payable at the door. Cash and checks only.
