Supervisory Skills Seminars Scheduled at Greenfield

Dabney S. Lancaster Community College is offering a Non-Credit Certification Program for business and industry personnel to teach or enhance supervisor and management skills on Wednesday mornings this semester at the Greenfield Education and Training Center in Daleville.
The facilitator, Charlotte Mason, PHR, is President of The Advantage Resource Group, Inc. of Roanoke and provides human resource training, strategic planning services and coaching for organizations. All six seminars, including a new topic on boosting employee morale, will be held in Room 122 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The series schedule: “Introduction to Supervision”, Feb. 10; “Boosting Employee Motivation and Morale”, Feb. 24; “ Interviewing Skills and Behavioral Interviewing”, March 10; “Coaching Skills”, March 24; “Performance Evaluation”, April 7; and “Employee Discipline & Documentation”, April 21.
Tuition is $60 per seminar or $320 for the series. The Greenfield Center is located at 57 S. Center Drive, Daleville, on Route 220 across from Ashley Plantation.
