Floral Design Course Set at DSLCC Rockbridge Center

“Floral Design” is a ten-week non-credit course scheduled on Wednesdays, February 3 -April 14, from 6 to 8 p.m., (no class March 10) at the Dabney S. Lancaster Community College Rockbridge Regional Center in Buena Vista. Jessica Mills Kelly, who teaches horticulture at Rockbridge County High School, is the instructor.
Students will learn about the basics of artistic design, materials used in flower arranging, flower preparation and the many styles of arrangements. Tuition, payable to DSLCC, is $150. The instructor will collect a $100 materials fee the first night of class.
