Stories About Mostly Forgotten Local Heroes At Genealogy Society Meeting Oxford Presbyterian Church Pastor Horace Douty Guest Speaker   The Rockbridge Area Genealogical Society will hold its upcoming meeting on Aug. 12 at 7 p.m. in the Piovano Room of the Rockbridge Regional Library in Lexington. The program will be “Stories About Mostly Forgotten Local Heroes” and the speaker will be Horace Douty. Mr. Douty is well-known in the area as the pastor of Oxford Presbyterian Church and author of the book "Rockbridge, Virginia : history lessons from a country church". The public is invited and refreshments will be served.
