Honor Student Announced At Hollins

Roanoke, Va – Mary Kate Claytor, a sophomore studio art major at Hollins University, has been named an Honor Student for the 2010 Fall Semester. To attain this distinction, students must earn at least a 3.5 average on a 4.0 grading scale.
Claytor is the daughter of Barry and B.J. Claytor, and granddaughter of Rex and Caroline Claytor of Natural Bridge, VA. She is a graduate of Rockbridge County High School.
Hollins is an independent liberal arts university offering undergraduate education to women, selected graduate programs for men and women, and community outreach initiatives. Its distinctions include a nationally ranked creative writing program, one of the oldest study abroad programs in the country, and extensive internship opportunities.
