Central Elementary PTA Announces Reflections Winners   Nearly 150 students at Central Elementary School participated in the 2006-07 PTA arts Reflections Program in which students submitted work in the areas of literature, musical composition, photography and the visual arts. The theme of the program was “My Favorite Place,” and entries were judged by Emily Miller, literature; Rick and Lenny Bruno, visual arts; Jeanie Brown, photography; and Bill Badgett, musical composition. Winners in the literature category in the second grade are Jamie McCormick, “Kids Place,”     1st place; Kayleigh Addington, “The 50th State,” 2nd place; and Gabrielle Majors, “Home,” 3rd place. In third grade, Ely Spencer, “Alaska,” 1st place; Teanna Potter, “Cuddling with My Mommy,” 2nd place; and Andrew Danas, “Beckley, West Virginia,” 3rd place.
